3 Mukhi Rudraksha Mala (54+1) — Indonesian — Made in Pure Silver

3 Mukhi Rudraksha Mala 54+1 | Indonesian Beads | Pure Silver | Aum Tatva Authentic Indonesian 3 Mukhi Rudraksha mala with 54+1 beads, set in pure silver. Lab-certified, energised, and sized for comfortable daily wear.

If you already know the 3 Mukhi Rudraksha — the bead tied to Agni, worn for confidence and for burning off old guilt and reactivity — this is the same bead, sourced differently, and worth understanding on its own terms rather than as a lesser version of anything.

Rudraksha grown in Indonesia (mostly Java and Sumatra) tend to form smaller, denser, and more uniformly rounded than their Nepalese counterparts, which grow larger and coarser in the Himalayan foothills. Neither is “better” in a spiritual sense — the mukhi count and the energy attributed to it stay exactly the same either way. What changes is the feel: Indonesian beads sit closer to the body, wear more comfortably through a full day, and their smaller, more consistent size makes for a mala that drapes and counts more evenly during long japa sessions.

We’ve strung this one as a full 54+1 mala in pure silver — the same configuration as our Nepalese 3 Mukhi mala, built for the same purpose, just in the bead that suits people who prefer a lighter, closer-fitting piece.

What This Bead Is Traditionally Worn For

  • Calming anger and impulsiveness — for those who react before they think, and want to slow that down
  • Releasing old guilt or karmic weight — associated with letting go of the past rather than carrying it forward
  • Confidence without noise — steadiness under pressure, more than outward assertiveness
  • Digestive and liver-related ease — a traditional association, not a medical claim
  • Suited to introverted temperaments — often recommended for those who find it hard to speak up or take the first step

Why Choose the Indonesian Bead Over the Nepalese One

  • More comfortable for all-day wear, especially for those with a smaller frame or new to wearing rudraksha daily
  • A smoother, rounder surface that many find easier to handle bead-by-bead during long chanting sessions
  • Generally more accessible in price than Nepalese beads of comparable mukhi authenticity, without any difference in spiritual significance

How It’s Traditionally Worn

Bathe and wear clean clothes before wearing it the first time, ideally on a Monday. Sit before an image or idol of Shiva, hold the mala briefly at the deity’s feet, and chant “Om Namah Shivaya” before putting it on. Remove before sleeping or bathing.

Care

Keep away from perfumes, soaps, and chemical cleaners. Store in a dry pouch away from direct sunlight when not in use.
