Tips for capping a Rudraksha
- Do not drill a new hole. Use the natural hole of the bead.
- Ask the jeweller to leave the mukhi lines visible.
- Avoid strong acids or heat on the bead during metal work.
- After capping, rinse the bead in Gangajal and chant its mantra before wearing.

Rudraksha beads that have been energised (pran pratishtha performed) are sacred objects. Once energised, a bead holds divine energy specific to the individual it was prepared for. For this reason, energised beads cannot be returned for personal preference — only for authenticity or damage issues.
