A yantra is a sacred design that holds the energy of a deity. The Purified Mahamrityunjaya Yantra is dedicated to Lord Shiva as Mahamrityunjaya, the conqueror of death, and is made in pure copper in India.
What does Purified mean? After it is made, the copper is purified and energised through traditional Vedic rituals rooted in ancient wisdom, so the metal becomes alive and activated for worship. One sign devotees notice: the purified copper soaks in attar (ittar) or rose water offered to it during puja.

- Day: Monday or Mahashivratri.
- Place: Facing north-east.
- Clean: Wash it with Gangajal or raw milk and wipe dry.
- Offer: Flowers, kumkum and a ghee diya.
- Chant 108 times: the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra, ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम् । उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय माऽमृतात् ॥
Care tips: Copper darkens over time. Clean it gently with lemon and salt, then rinse and dry.
