A 16 Mukhi Nepali Rudraksha is a rare natural Rudraksha bead from Nepal with sixteen lines. It is traditionally worn for protection, freedom from deep fears, victory over enemies and good health.

The Mahamrityunjaya mantra is one of the most powerful prayers in the Vedas, a prayer for protection from danger and untimely death. The 16 Mukhi Nepali Rudraksha is the bead of Mahamrityunjaya Shiva. It is also called the Vijay Rudraksha, the bead of victory.
Beads with sixteen lines are rare and found in small numbers each season. We source them directly from Nepal and always have them lab-tested.
The 16 Mukhi Rudraksha is ruled by Mahamrityunjaya, the form of Lord Shiva who protects life and conquers death. It is also linked with Lord Rama’s victory, which is why it is called Vijay.
Its ruling planet differs between traditions: some link it with the Moon, others with Rahu. It is mainly valued for protection rather than for a single planet.
The 16 Mukhi grows in both Nepal and Indonesia. The Nepali bead is larger, with deeper lines, and is far rarer. The Indonesian bead is smaller and more affordable. For a single bead of protection, the Nepali 16 Mukhi is the classic choice.
Rudraksha supports your wellbeing alongside medical care. It does not replace a doctor’s advice or treatment.

Rare beads like the 16 Mukhi are often faked by carving lines or joining parts of beads. A genuine 16 Mukhi has sixteen natural lines, and an X-ray shows sixteen seed chambers inside.
Every Aum Tatva bead comes with a report from RGTL (Rudraksha and Gems Testing Lab), an independent lab trusted by premium brands across India.
Aum Tatva is part of Aggarwal Rudraksha, a family that has traded Rudraksha for generations. Since 2003, we have sourced beads directly from Nepal through our network in Kathmandu.
