Sphatik Jalaheri (Shivling Base)
A Sphatik Jalaheri is the base of a Shivling carved from natural clear quartz (Sphatik). It holds the Lingam and carries the abhishek water out through its spout. It is sold on its own or together with a Sphatik Lingam, and represents Goddess Shakti, the base of all creation.

Every Shivling sits on a base called the jalaheri (also jalari or yoni). Carved from pure Sphatik, the base glows with the same clear light as the Lingam it holds. Our Sphatik comes from Brazil.
What is the significance of the jalaheri?
The Lingam stands for Lord Shiva and the jalaheri stands for Goddess Shakti. Together they show that Shiva and Shakti are one. The spout carries away the water and milk offered during abhishek.

How to place and use it
- Place the jalaheri in the home temple with the spout facing north.
- Set the Lingam in the centre.
- After abhishek, wipe it dry with a soft cloth.
- Clean it with plain water only. Avoid soap and chemicals.
How to identify genuine Sphatik?
Natural Sphatik feels cool, is harder than glass and often has tiny natural inclusions. Glass may show round air bubbles. Every Aum Tatva Sphatik product comes with a report from RGTL (Rudraksha and Gems Testing Lab), an independent lab trusted by premium brands across India.
