Every puja in an Indian home begins with Lord Ganesha. The Ganesh Rudraksha is a bead that nature itself has shaped in his honour: it has a small, raised trunk-like form growing on its surface. Devotees see it as Ganesha’s own blessing.
The Nepali Ganesh Rudraksha is larger, with a clearer trunk and deeper lines than other origins. We source it directly from Nepal and choose each bead by hand for a natural, well-formed trunk.
The Ganesh Rudraksha is ruled by Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the god of wisdom. The trunk-like shape is a natural growth on the bead, and its mukhi count can vary.
Many astrologers link it with Ketu, though some traditions link it with Mercury. It is valued as a bead of beginnings and good fortune.
Ganesh Rudraksha grows in both Nepal and Indonesia. The Nepali bead is larger, with a bold, well-defined trunk. The Indonesian bead is smaller and suits bracelets and malas. For a single bead to wear or keep at home, the Nepali Ganesh is the classic choice.
Rudraksha supports your wellbeing alongside medical care. It does not replace a doctor’s advice or treatment.

Fake Ganesh beads are made by gluing or carving a trunk onto an ordinary bead. A genuine Ganesh Rudraksha has a trunk that grows naturally from the bead, with the surface flowing smoothly into it. An X-ray confirms the natural structure.
Every Aum Tatva bead comes with a report from RGTL (Rudraksha and Gems Testing Lab), an independent lab trusted by premium brands across India.
Aum Tatva is part of Aggarwal Rudraksha, a family that has traded Rudraksha for generations. Since 2003, we have sourced beads directly from Nepal through our network in Kathmandu.
